Confidence doesn't come from exactly knowing how things will work out. On the contrary, it comes from accepting the risk and being willing to give it your best shot, all while trusting your ability to cope with the outcome. If you succeed, then celebrate. Enjoy it. If you fail , then learn from it and try a better shot next time. Failure needs courage. Never be shy or embarrassed to try again and again, better and smarter every single time. Trial-and-error is sometimes required. Experience and training reduce your trial-and-error effort. And don't forget, get your head up when you fail, and get your head down when you succeed.
Be fearless. Be humble. YOU CAN DO IT.
